I know that most people have lost their faith,
I know they don't want to wait forever...
I know that's too much to ask.
But without hope for the future,
It won't matter the past.
I know it seems like its over,
I know it seems like there's no end,
And it's as if no matter how hard we try,
We end up letting our hopes die.
I know we can't go back in time,
I know many people wish they could,
I know if there was a way to change things,
We definantely would.
I know its hard to trust,
I know its hard to be good,
I know there's temptation all around,
And I know honesty is hard to be found.
I know we should all love one another,
I know some people do want to,
I've tried so hard to see the good side,
And I'm sure it's there.
