Decadent tree.

by Sean   Jun 24, 2010

Decadent tree grew in loneliness,
twisted contorted shape; sheltered few.
Dull drudgery rooted in toxicity,
reaching bluntly for starving forget.

Bashed root stumbles into new spring,
tasting ecstasy with every swallow;
sweet relief in innocent bliss,
a taste fresh with nourishing forgive.

Decadent tree, grew in happiness,
drudgery flowered with angelic taste.
The heart of the water in flowing faith,
now beats in the heart of a newborn tree.

Sean 2010,
Thank you Lucy.
