Back to Happiness

My heart is fading
I can't feel its beat anymore
it doesn't burn with anguish its unable to heal,
my heart is numb to the pain
it will no longer break or weigh me down
for its just a pigment of my imagination
a dream that only fades away with my sanity

My soul is darkening
I'm lost trying to find the light
its so hard to relinquish the sorrow
when there's nothing to brighten the way
I just want to feel again
to breathe knowing my life is worth living
but I'm stranded not knowing,
how to find my way to happiness.
