Black roses signal a funeral dedication,
A cerimony for a wife's commemoration,
She was a mother too, her sons now lost,
Depression's price was paid at a cost,
Her son now cries, his mom died that night,
Everyoneis calling to see if he's alright,
He wishes they'd leave, just give him some space,
He doesn't want them to see the look of fear on his face,
Tears are falling, his little brothers still cry,
He wishes that his mother never died,
His anger is building, he hates her face,
She's made him this mess, a tearful disgrace,
He wants his mother back, back from death,
He'll scream till he dies from losing breath,
His hands curl around a picture frame,
A man and a woman that have no name,
Smiles on their face, his smashes it to pieces,
But the sound of his crying never ceasses,
Black roses signal a funeral to come,
A boy to lost to feel anything, living so numb.
