Empty Bliss

by Breesasha   Jul 1, 2010

He's the one she thought she could be herself with
He's the one she thought she could trust
He swallowed her heart, her thoughts, her emotions
And he spit them out in little chunks all chewed up
He ate her spirit, her personality and her happiness
And left her with empty bliss

A world of her own selfishness
Where she actually thought her abyss of nothingness mattered
She turned her back on her besties
And gave herself to him completely
She neglected her family
Just to talk to h im

She actually believed he loved her
But she was just one of another
Another girl dumb enough to waste time on him
Another girl to be sucked into his emptiness
His life, a hallow shell filled with misery
His pathetic life filled with loneliness, heartbreak, and lacking love
Which made him the way he was
And she was sill enough to believe she could change him
