The Sky's Still Blue

by Some Random Human   Jul 5, 2010

I know you think I'm a baby,
you said, "Maybe you should look around",
I know that it might seem lazy,
but baby without you I don't even hear sound,
and I know you think I'm crazy,
but maybe it's the other way around,
it's hard to tell when everything's hazy,
but baby feels like I'm six feet underground,

You say, "The sky's still blue",
but it ain't without you,
all the colors are gray,
and it all fades away,

That night you said, "I'm leaving",
I was being such a fool,
now I spend my days grieving,
'cause I'm not seeing you,
I'm still having trouble believing,
I guess our disagreeing still ain't through,
but my mind is still deceiving,
it's guaranteeing you ain't that cruel,

You say, "The sky's still blue",
but it ain't without you,
all the colors are gray,
and it all fades away,

You said, "The sky's still blue",
but it ain't without you,
all the colors turned to gray,
and it all just faded away,

I know you think I'm a baby,
you said, "Maybe you should look around",
and now I'm tired of being lazy,
living without you I've finally found,
that the sky's still blue...
