Always His

by Kurt   Jul 6, 2010

Desiring warmth of an old flame
All while being currently engaged
No visual display of the shame
Nagging feelings whisper, "Turn the page"
You tread dangerously in this game

Silent eyes betray a true intent
Handle this situation with care
Each word of love that you never meant
Act as catalysts of my despair

Drowning in the tears that I have cried
Aware of dwindling emotions
Neglect the services I provide
Needless abuse of my devotion
You still feel his strong passion inside

Wow... this poem was really intense and interesting... It was different, and I liked the story that you told in this poem.
My favorite stanza was the last and I felt like it was the strongest and perfect ending.

    Great job!
