Dancing Visions {Trilonnet}

by BREEawNUHH   Jul 10, 2010

A sight to see, way over there
Across the field from where we view
Faint visions of happiness dance

All the while, in wonder we stare
A light shines on us, that's our cue
But we are paused in this still stance

Gusts of wind start to swipe our hair
Tempting us now, what should we do --
Stand motionless, or take the chance?

Waves of brilliance, a feeling we share
As our vision now bids us adieu
We slowly come out of this trance

I wake up quickly, out of breath
As my dream ends in sudden death.

    This poem was so gentle, and i felt like i was almost drifting, until the last two lines - just put me back to reality! It really did feel like i was reading a dream or should i say in the dream? Well it was really good! (Y)
