Love Defined

by Alicia   Jul 12, 2010

Love is nothing that can be described.

It can't be defined by a thousand candy hearts or a million blood red roses.

Love can't be defined by any gift or word spoken.

A trillion text messages full of confessions, although they are nice to have, cannot even compare to that first moment when you know you are in love.

That split second you close your eyes and realize you physically can't live without someone.

Without seeing them, without holding them, without breathing in the scent of them.

That fraction of time when you know that slowly they have become your everything.

Everything that matters.

How could you survive without the comfort of a reassuring hand squeeze or word when you are worried?

No, it is not possible to describe.

That warm feeling that spreads throughout your body with only a glance.

The tingle of anticipation until you can be with them again.

The feeling of absolute contentment when you listen to their heartbeat.

Love is nothing that can be described.

But I know the feelings I have for you, define love in every possible sense of the word.

I love you, heart and soul.

You're mine, and you are stuck with me.
