Although I'm typically slightly irritated by a casual approach to meter, you make it work here. I'm not absolutely certain that I know who you're speaking of here, but I might have it pinned. Suffice it to say that I believe you are speaking about a man who is very important, whether or not he is as good as the modern day elf he supposes himself to be. Good write.

I liked it, mostly. The first eight lines were simple, fun, and just...playful. It was nice. But I think the last for lines took away from the piece as a whole. It's flow wasn't quite the same, not was it joyful youthness.
