You were the only exception,
I swore id never fall in love.
But you seemed different,
More special than anything I could ever dream of.

I was content alone,
Then you came and ruined it all,
I thought it would be worth it.
But shamefully..you let me fall..

Your smile, Your sweet touch.
I became oblivious.
Wrapped in the stupidity of love,
No longer able to progress..

I swore I wouldn't be stupid,
Love doesn't exist.
You were the only exception
and i couldn't resist.

Love never lasts,
Just as Ive always known.
I don't know what it was about you,
but you made me hate being alone.

I swore id never do this,
Write about pity love.
But boy you were the only exception,
the only one Ive ever dreamed of.

Now i lay this paper in the fire
To teach myself love is not real
No exceptions...
