A very painfully sad piece you have penned.

I guess I'm just trying to
pull you out somehow. Make
you real again. Make you live.
Function. Laugh. Play. But
you're still dying somewhere
inside my head. I need you
to come out so I can be
complete again.

Note to self...where am I?

I know so many will be able to relate to this poem. How often do we lose sight of who and what we are.

Fantastic poem, really well written
the mood is so reflective
you find yourself reflecting on your own life and relating
the words are also so well chosen that you can't help but be drawn in to it

This last stanza is amazing
and really ends the poem well
encapsulating that feeling of being lost

I Liked your poem, Always remember to never lose the hold you have on yourself. As we let others into our lives, be can't allow the person who means the most to use to exit, and that is Ourselves. Stick with the Me, Myself, and I and your focus on our inner self triples, and when we trip and feel we are at our breaking point, don't let it be you that shatters. Be strong within yourself, and with all your might grasp on your own beliefs, morals, and principles to attain not only who we begun to be but to stretch out who we will become. I really liked this. the "note to self" is a really interesting approach. nothing like a little soul searching to try and find where you are, or where you're going. well done
