Missing You

by Timothy   Jul 17, 2010

Cuddling our old blanket,
Smelling that scent;
Weeks have gone by,
But I still need you present.

Your clothes are all still in the closet,
Folded and hung with care;
I haven't changed a thing,
Because it helps me to think you are still there.

I still sleep on my side of the bed,
And your toothbrush is still in it's place;
I keep more pictures out then ever,
So in every room I can see your face.

Sometimes I fix a plate for you,
I stare at the steaming food across the table;
I know I should lay you to rest,
But I am just not able.
