I Will Never Be Free

by Timothy   Jul 17, 2010

She's in love with someone else,
It's as plain as the nose on my face;
What a fool I am to stay with her,
Everyone knows my disgrace.

People are talking about me,
I know they are laughing behind my back;
But they don't know how deep I love her,
And what I've always lacked.

She doesn't love me in return,
And she doesn't care about the injury;
She's using me, and I'm letting her,
Because I will never be free.

    I like this poem alot! I think you portrayed very good emotion, but I think you might have ended it too soon. Add more of a story to it, to make it even better. Very good though :DD
