Truth is Truth

by Marcus blake   Jul 18, 2010

Nothing is unexplained, unprovable
Expectation makes us try to become stronger
Examples teach us we can or can not
Linger with ill thoughts of doubt
And you too will become like "them"
If you know the truth why hide it?
Does knowing something someone doesn't make you feel powerful?
Perhaps the sensation of control elevates you
For what ever reason
If you choose to or not to
To do or to not to do
Let the choice be yours
"Influence" has such an effect that even you are unaware of
And while the media portrays lies
We believe them willingly with no retaliation
"Does the truth mean that "in" which we will never know"
Cause what good is a truth that is a lie
What good is a lie to an honest man
Test the waters, steal and run
Kill for amusement, rape for pleasure
Starve because you don't have money
Beg cause it's all you know how to do...
"What more truth is there than what you see, hear, and do..."
