Drowning

Where in life did I go so off track
That I can't ever go back?
My head is in the past
My heart has yet to be found

Now I'm drowning in unbearable emotions
Cause I can't find some solid ground
& each day I sink deeper
But you can't hear me way down here

I'm up & I'm down
But I can never break the surface
& if I don't find a way to turn around
Sooner or later I'm gonna drown
