Summer Love

by Candy Rain   Jul 21, 2010

You were my summer love
My sun in the day
Lit up the world with your ray
Had me feeling like every things okay
I loved you from the time I went to sleep to the time i awakened
Your words seemed to speak a lot your actions weren't the same
Flirting with the other chicks while you were suppose to be my man
Ain't nothing wrong with it but asking them out was a little extreme
I trusted in you but you kept playing
Broke my heart in two because i let you in
You were my summer love now you're nothing but the fire blazing in my heart full of nothing

He, who brings you pain, makes you learn. Let not the start, overwhelm you.
