Nobody deserves to live a life with someone who is constantly hurting them with their words and stupidity. There comes a time though you have to accept it and move on no matter how much it hurts you...the life ahead is something so much better & free of pain. Awesome write

I think sometimes it would hurt less to be slapped then to have hate filled words coming from the mouth of someone that use to be your world :( I know you can forgive....but will your heart ever forget? This is such a gut wrenching piece. I'm sure so many can relate to.

but it's a necessary evil so that healing can begin.

So true are these words you spoke my friend.When we forgive those that hurt our feelings, it shows how closer to God we are even though it's very hard to forgive sometimes.

So often people hurt each other with words not thinking of the consequences of those words, and the effect it has.
But thorugh it all one has to be strong and strive to overcome the tyrany of those who throw words of hate at them.
A very sad piece yet beautifully penned.
