This sickening scene
where i give up my pride
down on my knees

latching my hands
in a less than diginfied
plead to stay

tears i once refused
to shed, now spill
choking my very breath

pitiful whimpers
escape my lips
as i beg once more

Just for one
last night to be
held in your embrace

this is where it ends
with my heart shattered
and mascara stained cheeks

with blurred vision
sheilding me from watching
you walk out that door
