The Day I Walked Away

by Molly Beth Dundas   Jul 23, 2010

The Day, That I Walked Away,
Was So Long Ago Now That It's Gone
As I Recall This Pain,
I'll Also Recall The Great Gain.

I Can Only Feel My Heart Beat,
As The Numbness Moves Up From My Feet,
I Can't Shake The Feeling,
I Should Of Seen This Coming.

I Have Lost It All,
I Just Had To Trip And Fall,
After How Many Tries,
I Can't Get Out Of This Webb Of Lies.

After All The Nights With No Sleep,
Forever In My Heart I'll Keep,
That Look On You Face,
When I Walked Out Of Your Place.

I'll Never Forget Or Regret,
The Day I Walked Away.
