Temporary Happiness

by FindingHarmonyInYurCries   Jul 24, 2010

Temporary happiness,
Watch it walk in and out.
It's gone in an instance,
Heartbreak's what it's about.

The perfect coffee,
Can supply just a little hope.
Unintentional, yet deadly,
And sometimes it's hard to cope.

To watch a smile,
Break over a child's face.
Can give you joy,
That no grown person can replace.

And being present,
In the perfect moment.
Can give you beliefs,
When that wasn't your intent.

So temporary happiness,
Take it while you can.
It doesn't last long,
Who cares how it began?

    Beautiful, but sad.
Even if the happiness is temporary ..
It's gonna give you more strength to survive.
