who memorizes the swift stages of the sun
until she is ladled into undergrowth to nurture.

    MaryAnne,

    I feel it should be "which memorizes", that somehow sounds better to me.

    Other than that this really surprizes me, both for the format, and the message. I admire how you make the reader see how nature has it's own intelligence and each being does as it is programmed to do by forces we cannot even begin to understand.
