If I Could Start From Scratch

by Stephanie   Jul 29, 2010

If I could pick apart the world
And tear the bad from good
I'd do it in a heartbeat
Just to prove I could

No more problems would exist
I'd start it all from scratch
No wars would start in this new world
I'd make sure of that.

We'd all be one big nation
No individual states
We'd all live in harmony
Without all the debates.

It's hard not to let your mind wander and say "I wish," every once in a while, especially in such a sad world. It explains what alot of us feel at times when we take a second out of our lives, to look at the world or to look at your own life and wish things were better, that things could change, or how you beautifuly discribed, to start all over again. Wonderful poem. It was sad, creative, and opened a door to what's on everyones minds at some point in life. 5/5
