made me think you'd be there forever.

You said next time,
I say there will be no next time.

I love the way you lied then,
Now I hate myself for being stupid.

You said that you'd be there and now,
I see that you lied.

The words you said,
The way you lied,
All of it makes me want to die.

Die because you, the one I loved,
Lied straight to my face and broke my fragile heart.

I stood there and watched it burn.
Now I stand here, whole again.

Except that piece you took when you left my life.

So yes the way you lied made me feel like a princess,
But now I see the truth.
