A Young Girl's Plea

by ShyandHurt   Aug 1, 2010

The barn is outlined
In a silvery glaze of moonlight
A whimper breaks the quiet
A girl seated on a grey horse
Sits with blue eyes full
She wails and cries into the night
Her pale tear streaked face
Buries into a black mane
Willing it to go away
Willing for freedom
And
Hoping to see true
Friends in the future.

~Found this poem in the depths of one of my drawers. Wrote is back in like... 4th grade. I'm a junior in high school now. Haha.~
