I'm In The Mood For Love

by Poet on the Piano   Aug 3, 2010

Let raindrops soak our heads
Quenching thirst of all we've said
Sleep cannot lure a subtle heart
I have already sealed every part
To a man who rides on a cloud
And sculpts the promises vowed.
Down me in your dance
Flood our old romance
The storm is coming back
But we create our own track
Neglecting sane streetlights
Mixing colors to lengthen nights.
Send those hidden stars
Behind black metal bars
Because daytime comes from
Melding each falling hum
Until we make the weather
And join hands in forever.

- I wrote this while listening Barbra Streisand singing so beautifully "I'm in the mood for love".
