Beneath Skin and Bone

by Poet on the Piano   Aug 4, 2010

Deep inside a glance
there is an individual stance
where the mind invents
and distinguishes new scents.
No matter the small age
or nonexistent wage,
clever thoughts develop
how a picture would envelop
all keen attitude and voice
separated from chaotic choice.
That mistaken gaze
is not a daydream daze;
it is the crafter of great light
radiating on a hopeless sight.
Where ideas seem rushed
humble brilliance hushed,
a beam is cleverly emerging
from watchful soul urging.
Wisdom can be hidden
in soft eyes of the forbidden.

Oh MaryAnne, I am always so amazed when I open up a page in your diary on here:)

How do you come up with these perfect verses, so beautifully crafted.

I love the unforced rhyming and the things you made me see through your eyes.
