This poem is about being diagnosed with deppression and is dedicated to all those out their who are dealing with it...I feel you...

Just got the news today, as I walk down this broken path,
Circling in chaos, trying to avoid your eyes
(So you will not see the sting in mine);
Just got the news and it has straightened out a lot of things.
Just got the news, I do nott know why you are so surprised?
I wore my heart on my sleeve for you and the rest of the world to see,
But I guess you never noticed because you were too busy looking through me
I will stop smiling, chin facing the ground, maybe then you will recognize me.
I just got the news today, do you want to know?
But my voice falls on deaf ears as you fain ignorance,
And as I try to speak up I choke on my words;
(How bitter they taste coming from my tongue)
Just got the news today,
Though I slept through most of it;
Ignoring that pang in my chest (I think I will go back to bed now)
I am so tired,
