Empty cyber-spaces

by Michael D Nalley   Aug 10, 2010

Empty cyber-spaces
lacking social graces
fail to fill the void in my soul
Hearts passionately beat
yet often do not meet
a demand without mind control
Enforcers of moderation
are heros of retardation
they hinder overall traffic flow
These places are hollow
though many will follow
those who pretend to know
the rules of these domains
incomplete like their brains
with activity just as slow

The rhyming style was very cool and unique, haven't seen it much before. Loved the lines about people following others who pretend they know whats going on or where there going haha It's what the worlds become...nicely done 5/5

Original with the rhyming scheme, i thought it was clever! it was a good piece overall, it was easy to read and follow on.

    "Hearts passionately beat
    yet often do not meet"
    - loved those two lines!

I have to be honest, to start off -- I kinda feel like it's incomplete. It feels like it's an excerpt. Nevertheless, I do like the rhyme scheme. At first it took me a second to catch on, but I do like that. Despite not seeing much of a point, I think that this piece is interesting. Your vocabulary is good, too.

I'm giving this a four out of five because like I said, I just don't feel like it's complete. I know it's probably meant to be like that, but it doesn't really click with my brain.
