Ignorant. Stupid. Wrong.

by Millions   Aug 11, 2010

If it was fear, i was scared.
If it was neglect, i regret.
If our demise, our broken hearts,
were due to foolish words,
spat like bullets unto each others cavities,
I was ignorant. I was stupid. I was wrong.

You knew, before i did,
That this would be the end,
That two years of love and hate, tears and joy
was closing on our willing hearts.
I could see it on your face.

If it was fear, that placed words in my mouth,
I was scared.
If it was neglect, that allowed poison to seep from my throat,
I regret.
If this broken, open wound between us, was due to foolish words,
I was ignorant. I was stupid. I was wrong.
