Sometimes when I hear you yelling, the easiest thing for me to do, is to close my eyes and breathe. Wishing I was anywhere else, but there. You dont think I am listening, but im listening to every word you say. It pounds against my ear drums, like banging of drums, bangs get harder, never seeming to stop. I pray that at any moment, your vocal chords will burst, and silence will fill the room. But as I come back to reality, and open my eyes once more, youre still yelling.
