Living Nature

by Jad   Aug 16, 2010

Leaves dance through the air,
While the trees talk to each other,
Leaving the flowers to Natures care.

The clouds drift through the sky,
Forming rifts to the open space
As clouds gather to cry.

The wind whispers old tales.
Unsee-able but felt by all,
Leaving behind it's gentle trail.

Living nature is all around,
Portraying the past in it's vastness
Speaking to us with Nature's sound.

Though I feel this poem was cleverly written, for some reason, i didn't enjoy it as much as I would've liked. Perhaps it was the thtree-line stanzas. They distorted the rhythm, in my most humble opinion. I did like the connection of the first and third line of each stanza, though. I felt very calm while reading it, by the way.
