What is this love?

What is this love?
That I long to live forever and never sleep and if to sleep to be in thy embrace?
And what of longing, that time apart is an eternity and in your embrace eternity is but a moment?
Where thy soft tenderness could kiss away the sting of the thorniest rose and yet thy passion could vex the most chaste of hearts.
To know this love is to know comfort and have all thirsts quenched and yet to ache and yearn for more of its ambrosial fruit.
To know this love is to know peace and contentment and yet be stirred with an insatiable passion to know what the next moment holds.
To know this love is to be content to just to breathe the same air and yet breathe no more when you cease to breath for I would lose the strength and desire to raise my chest even once without you.
Oh! And to touch thee is to betray my own desire for each touch craves two more.
Oh to savor! To take pleasure and balance it on the ledge of the highest cliff, teetering there, so close, so so close, and yet wanting to consume every morsel like a wildfire consuming bone dry scrub.
My soul knows a new pain; that of yearning. The pain is deep and sure, and sweet and beautiful, and haunts me in my slumbers. Yet I crave this pain and drink of it and let it flow through me.
You are this yearning and longing. You are this peace and contentment. You are this tenderness. You are this pleasure. You are this love.
Forever and ever
