Winged Days (Fibonacci)

by Meena Krish   Aug 18, 2010

Winged
days
pass like
lightening,
time ticks without care
seasons are born and age with grace
as we allow precious moments to slip from our hands.
Galloping months race to finish a year, have we lived a truthful life or lived in fear?

Fibonacci
The number of syllables in each line must equal the sum of the syllables in the two previous lines. So, start with 0 and 1, add them together to get your next number, which is also 1, 2 comes next, then add 2 and 1 to get 3, and so on Fibonnaci:
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21... Poetry: 1 syllable, 1 syllable, 2 syllables, 3 syllables, 5 syllables, 8 syllables, 13 syllables, 21 syllables...

Your words definately made me sit up and think. Time tends to slip by too quickly and often we find ourselves still 'promising' to do something, finish something and before we know it months have gone by and we are still making these promises.

Thank you for the explaination on this form, it sounds very complicated but you have done a great job with it.

Congrats on your win, very well deserved.
