Death in my arms

Why do you hide your eyes from me?
Covering the tears that I can clearly see,
They fall down your cheek like drops of rain,
They allow me to feel your sadness and pain.

I hold you in my arms your skin so tender,
You feel so cold, please don’t surrender.
We will get through it we always do,
I cant live my life with out you.

So why do you lie still in my arms?
I’m taken in by your innocent charms.
Please wake up form this everlasting sleep,
Seeing you so still and solemn cuts me deep.

Please awake and say your ok,
In my arms you can not stay.
Will my tears heal your heart?
Please stop this its tearing me apart.

How can I live with out your smile?
Are happiness only lasted for a short while.
Your body lies motionless and yet still so serene,
So much torture you have seen.

Maybe now your mind will be at rest,
Though why did you surrender life’s test.
I’ll pray for you every night,
Hoping to see you once again in my
sight.

But your heart lives on inside of me,
Least now I know that you are free.
I think about you every day,
knowing you’re only a memory away
