One Nation Under Greed

One nation under greed with religion and hypocrisy for all.
Whether you buy your stuff On line or at the shopping mall.
Remember those local places; They were the first to fall.
We have credit cards and franchises with buildings so tall.
Major corporations and big business made them seem small.
Mom and pops stores greed consumed in its big open maw.
Healthy competition is one thing but greed has this big flaw.
Sometimes competition needs to be regulated for equal law.
Or otherwise small business is an endangered species raw.
To be cooked or not to be cooked; We do see what we saw.
