Lost

by Evadelasmiley   Aug 24, 2010

As i sit here pen in hand,
thinking of all the time we had,
to make things right,
to start anew,
but you never seemed to pull through.

After a while i start to think,
and dream about the past we shared.
If only there was a way to put things back,
over the moon and stars i would leap,
just to see you and let you hold me.

Its sad to think that you might have moved on.
Or are you just as disappointed as me?
Sitting at home,
wandering aimlessly in your mind like I?

Or couldn't you be happier?
I wish i could know.
I wish you could get the nerve to tell me,
"Sometimes i have these wandering dreams,
and all i see is you and me."
Thats all you would say,
then silence would fill our happy hearts, and
all would be right again.

But i guess i should just keep wandering
through my land of the unknown
until you find me, pick me up and make
me whole again.

For now i shall lie in pieces.
Laying in the dark,
until your light opens my eyes.

I'm waiting.
