Tired

by Alexandra   Aug 24, 2010

I'm tired and alone,
Broken and falling.
Blood is flowing out my wrist,
And I just feel like bawling.

I'm sore from head to toe,
My brain feels as if it will pop.
Right now I do not feel so well,
I want all the pain to stop.

My hair is in a ponytail,
Mascara's steaming down my face.
Everyone wants to know what's wrong,
But I just want my space.

I'm screaming for all I've got,
My throat is becoming sore.
Tears are running down my face.
I just can't take it anymore.

My mother rushes in the room,
Blood is soaking her top.
She is dialing 911,
But my heart has already stopped.

I don't have strong vocab like the guy above me but I think hes saying that many people can relate to this poem. I know I can. It's a strong topic that many suffer in silence about. Great job. Great poem

Alexandra, I feel your pain and share in the helplessness. It is my inabilitity to be comfortable in my own skin that fuels my irritablity and discontent. Thanks for sharing
