Dreamland

by White Orchid   Aug 25, 2010

See your smiling face
Coming from across the room
You come over toward me
I'm in dreamland again

Walking a crowded street
You take my hand
And dance with me
I'm in dreamland again

In the shade we reside
My head on your shoulder
Comforting me as I cry
I'm in dreamland again

Confessing your love
Making many promises
You never fail to keep
I'm in dreamland again

As my eyelids slowly open
Happiness is what I feel
Because of what I've witnessed
Hoping tomorrow to return again

Dreams often reflect what we really want, even if they seemingly make no sense and involve things we've never thought of in our everyday lives, or if they make perfect sense. *shrug* Our sub-conscious, which generates our dreams, can hold our deepest desires and wants, so it's good to try and remember our dreams as best as we can so we can learn what we truly want, whether it be good or bad. That way we can act accordingly on our desires in a way that's best for us. *nod*
