Like A War

by Frannie Swanson   Aug 25, 2010

Everyday is like a war,
I have to fight to survive.
But I've been dreading this day more,
the day that I died.

I'll soon remember living
But for now I'll just rest.
Because everyone around me is breathing
Maybe me dying is for the best.

But before I leave you forever
I have to tell you this.
"We were made to be together,
But don't cry for me, I insist.

I didn't commit suicide
God intended my death.
So please don't cry.
Just take a breath.

I'll only be gone for awhile,
Please don't leave me, Love.
Just wear a happy smile,
And we'll find each other above."
