Automatic Fate

by No Need For A Name   Aug 26, 2010

See the world through rose colored glasses
Make everything bloodshot
Starving yourself cause you're fastening
Expel all toxin you've caught

Well this is what fate is here for
Rip us from what we love
And this is what sin is here for
We'll buy all you've got

See the world through rubbish mirrors
Everything dull and blotched
Fake a smile, force those tears
Wish they burn in hell and rot

Well this is what fate is here for
Separate what we hate
And this is what sin is here for
Open the floodgates

Automatic fates
Golden, worth their weight
Automatic fates
Vending machine taste
Automatic fates
Golden, worth their weight
Automatic fates
Vending machine taste
Open the floodgates

This piece is interesting, it has a satisfying word choice as well as a story to tell, yet your voice still manages to be present throughout the entire piece. I think you have done a magnificent job showing what the world ought to know. There are slight flecks of emotion and they dust the piece, adding a perfect touch. If this is not worthy of a 5/5 then please do tell me, what is. Excellent job.
