Dandy Lions

by Katie Rose   Aug 28, 2010

I stand alone on this street corner,
Waiting for acceptance.
Only to be raped and beaten for being different;
For not not being whole.

Pieces of me are ripped apart,
Dancing away in the wind.
Like spring Dandy lion seeds.
What will grow from the pieces?

Someone I once knew?
Someone I wish I did?
Will they learn from my mistakes?
Or follow them?

All I know is....
I need you.
I loved you.
And I need a wish.

It's spring time dear lover...
Hurry before whats left blows away.
