I will Never Have Her.

by Lolpez   Aug 31, 2010

The incredible beauty my gaze must avert
The alluring eyes From which I must disguise my own
The embraces I witness and the heart they hurt
It is mine and I remain alone

The warmth I will never feel
The soul I will never know
The lips I will never taste
The love that shall never grow

Of all the lives in all the world
She walks into mine

All I wish is her happiness
And all I want is my own
So I must choose a heart to hurt
It is mine and I remain alone

So all we can do is place our hope in the coming dawn
And take solace knowing time marches on

This is truly sad and is like my situation right now. I honestly thought I'd found a lovely guy but it turns out he's not lovely after all, though the one you want does seem to be. Isn't it sad that our best pieces come when our hearts are aching the most?

    All the best, Em
