Adela's Theme

by Poet on the Piano   Aug 31, 2010

My love
you are the water
flowing in soul.

Winter
warm breaths
only you
could light a flame.

We balanced out
the storm
blowing cold,
fingers numb
but with hope still.

Won't you
come back?

I miss your touch
the one that
calmed the sea.

Sunset
lone sand
together
our hands create.

When seasons turn
and you're no where
to be loved,

I will stand
lighthouse of love.

- Inspired by the most beautiful and moving music "Della's Theme" from composer: Craig Armstrong.

One word, Beautiful! The short lines really suited this verse and the question in the middle really broke the mood of the poem. Thoroughly enjoyed this one from you.
