It was obvious to me that a lot of time and effort went into producing this beautiful verse.

Whisper hollow words into a midnight mist,
Crush helpless hearts with a tightened fist.
Disappear into an innocent summer breeze,
As love sleeps beneath the sycamore trees.

    ^^^

I just adored your opening stanza, such a great way to start out, draws the reader straight in.

One line in your closing stanza really caught my eye

My love for you sleeps beneath a sycamore tree

    ^^^^

That was just outstanding, as was the whole poem. You obviously love this girl dearly and it came across very strongly here. Beautiful, that's all I can repeat.

Another POWERFUL write from you, Karly. That's how I would describe your style - powerful.
Flawless flow. I would expect no less ;)

I especially liked learning a new term. Thanks for the footnote, hehe.

I told you I'd read your poems again! HA!

Your opening was most enjoyable. It really made the rest fall into place. And what a wonderful terminology you've created. Awesome write.

I loved the entire theme & meaning behind this poem, it was so excellent. Interesting title, definitely taught me something personally. Truly beautiful & breathtaking are your words...excellent. I loved how you took love & war - two opposite concepts and put them together to provide such great wisdom & beauty. I adored this piece so much, it has so much to offer.

Oooooh man! Publish, publish publish! Really, you need a book contract, your too good for P&Q!
"Forgotten love in time will surely transform to lust"... Soo true!
Aww, I can't even begin to say how amazingly written this is, how elegantly you touched upon the basic core of love VS humanity's pushing it away, like we don't know what love is..
Good gracious, your an artist :)
