All aboard this trains on time: Art of Seduction collection

by Ronald Edwards   Sep 5, 2010

Steel wheels on twin tracks
as straight as one perceives.
A whistle screams past broken dreams
through stations as it weaves.

Metal boxcars pulled along
all filled with a desire,
to find females, with reddened nails
to set my soul on fire.

Every days a scheduled stop,
a patron at each station.
The girls do love their tickets punched
their platforms in elation.

They want to find my railways
and feel the rolling thunder.
As I pass by their skirts do fly
apart in wide asunder.

Emotions fuel my train
like passion in a bottle.
Never have I slowed down
or let up on the throttle.

So if you hear me yelling
All aboard, this trains on time.
Jump that turnstile, run down the isle
and ride me for a while

I feel that your analogy of the train going down the track and stopping at the different stations here along with the wording and excellent rhyming make this an extremely clever and entertaining poem.
