Fatal Blow

Its dark, dreary & so cold
confusion overwhelms my thoughts
where did I go wrong
times ceases, no tick from my clock

the anger I feel
but yet the pain I endure
all trapped in cage
together, a beast from the core

a blank expression
a doll long face
blood rapidly rushing
u can hear my heart race

yelling at the top my lungs
nothing but echo in the distance
not a soul in sight
what happened? every1's missing

to find i'm alone
not a peep, not a sound
nor the wind blows
I see nothing is around

I stand mighty & bold
but I fear, feeling so scared
those I relied on
well, they just aren't here

I run for sometime
run until my feet bleed
physically beat
drained, emotions on E

Huffing and puffing
mouth dry. gut in a knot
looking around
I find myself in the exact same spot

I can hear it, I can feel the vibration
heart racing, flinch & hesitation
force not in sight
with the fatal blow comes devastation

rips my heart out my chest
sucks the air from my lungs
grips the thoughts from my mind
snatches the words from my tongue

So weak & wobbly
but yet I stand tall
life's throw us fatal blows
but damn it, I refuse to fall
