Sorrow has no place
I'm left here in a waste
The tears soak my paper
Feelings cascading down

Troubled thoughts escape
Taking time as they shape
Nightmares from my dreams
Torturing my mind everyday

My dreams, desires, and hope
And my one reason to cope
Fall apart with my heart
Killing any reason to live

I kill this pain inside
As I try so hard to deny
Insanity from taking over
And killing all that's left of me

So in the end I am rented
Torn, shattered, and dying in
A past so terrible and harsh
Forgetting what shouldn't have been
