are memories
so unique and so vast
from the minds of a passing life
today.

Cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables distributed as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines. It was developed by the Imagist poet, Adelaide Crapsey.

    I really enjoy this piece, I found it a while back and have been meaning to comment. It is really really well written. For being such a strict format you really wrote well and left me thinking. I also like how the words were able to be simple and still leave a huge impact.

    It seems like this style would be difficult to pull off yet at the same time, you make it look so completely effortless.
