An absolutely wonderful piece describing one who might of just came to salvation or perhaps as the above comment they are trying to get on the right path with God again and so the Holy Spirit give them insight as they read the word trying to find their way.

"Deceived but not on purpose,
There is evil to be purged.
But fighting wars to end the wars?
That path gets more diverged."

My favorite line as it almost gives a sense of hopelessness and yet all is not lost as the end of the poem ends in hope. Good job and keep writing.

WOW!!

God is amazing isn't he?? i was so exited reading this poem for many reasons. One, because another young person was writing about God, Two, the whole message was dead on! and Three, it brought comfort to me!

I get upset sometimes when people bash the bible without reading it or studying it themselves. More than half the time they have no idea what they are talking about. They are missing theese beautiful scriptures like you pointed out. its really sad.

Keep your faith. Keep reading the word. Never let the enemy seal your joy! Gods given you a talent to write, use it for him. This was awesome!
